It’s been ten years… a whole decade… since Brandy‘s found herself with a top 10 hit.
Now, pertched near the top of the Billboard R&B charts with the Chris Brown assisted “Put It Down”, it’s safe to say that B-Rocka is back.
Vibe Vixen took notice, and elected to feature her as the cover subject for their most recent digital edition.
In the story which accompanies the spread, Brandy discusses her new album Two Eleven, (stay tuned for our review later this week) the influence of Whitney Houston, and her acting career. When asked about the transition from music back to the small screen, she had this to say:
It was scary and natural. When I impressed my acting coach [Tasha Smith], I felt like I could go forward. She really helped me rediscover that confidence in my acting. I was blessed with Drop Dead Diva then Chardonnay for The Game. I really had to get in there and do my thing if I was going to fit in with them. I just trusted my instincts, the same way I did with Moesha. To be able to trust that again was great, and I’m happy I get a chance to possibly go back to The Game full-time.
