Following the release of his highly anticipated, and highly praised debut major label release channelOrange, singer/songwriter Frank Ocean took a few moments to share a piece of his life with his fans.
Posting this letter via Tumblr, the often press-shy Ocean revealed what it was like working with Jay-Z & Pharrell:
“I sat in the studio days ago with Jiggaman and Pharrell. Pharrell looks 19. They seemed like old friends. I wonder how many trophies are lodged in their minds. I wonder if they still build.”
He also reveals that he’s been toying with the idea of writing a novel, and that he’s considering relocating to NYC or Tokyo from his current home in California. Probably the most simply poignant line came late in the letter:
“All I really have to say is that love is all there is.”
