In just over an hour, Serena Williams finished Russia’s Maria Sharapova [winning 6-0, 6-1] in the Olympic Women’s Tennis Final today in London. With the victory, Serena became only the second woman (after Steffi Gaff) to win a career Golden Slam (all four major Grand Slams + a Gold Medal) in singles. After a series of really intense stares throughout the match (affectionately hashtagged as #SerenaDeathStare on Twitter) Serena’s elation after winning manifested in the form of a tribute to her hometown of Compton, CA. Her victory dance of choice: The Crip walk. Watch below:

The funniest part was definitely the commentator’s reaction.
Serena will have another opportunity to take the doubles gold with her sister Venus (as they’ve done for the last 3 Olympic games,) later this weekend.
CONGRATS!
