Each year BET’s head honcho Debra Lee hosts an elegant Pre-BET Awards dinner and celebration, in which the nominees and guests get a chance to congratulate each other. This year, the event included performances from rising R&B star Luke James, Maybach Music Group’s Wale and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. On hand for the festivities were stars like Ciara, Diggy Simmons, Stalley, and exiting 106 & Park host Rocsi Diaz who brought along her new boyfriend, veteran actor Eddie Murphy.
