Over the past few months, all we’ve seen of Phonte has been on features and material with his partner Nicolay of the Foreign Exchange. But now, much to the excitement of his fans, he’s announced the forthcoming release of a long awaited solo project called Charity Starts At Home. This track, “Not Here Anymore” is the first single from that album. Produced by 9th Wonder and featuring Elzhi, the song boasts a sample from the classic Rose Royce song “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore.”
It’s nice to hear Phonte rhyming again. Stream and Download below.
