Michelle Obama invited a huge group of DC area 6th and 7th graders to enjoy a performance by the group Sweet Honey Rock in honor of Black History Month. The event took place in the White House’s East Room. It’s awesome to me to see living history like the Obama family pay tribute to the historical past.
